Located near Brookshire, Texas (west of Houston), 5R Restorations is a full service restoration shop specializing in classic British sports cars. Our restorations run from various British marques to an Amlicar. Many of our restorations are award winners with, at last count, four Octagon of Honor winners (from the Texas MG Register). The Houston British Auto Expo has also seen many of our cars win awards.

We handle anything from general maintenance to full frame-off restorations. Our mechanical abilities include full engine, transmission, and rear axle rebuilds. In addition to making your car run like new, we can make your brakes stop better than new. We understand the Prince of Darkness (Lucas wiring) and can troubleshoot your wiring problems or replace your full harness. Front suspension rebuilds will make your car handle like a dream.

Your old, tired paint may not need to be redone. Many times a wet sand and buff can make your paint like new again. Paint and bodywork can include collision repair, rust repair, or full repaints. We only use top quality PPG paint and offer your choice of modern base coat / clear coat or single stage systems.

Interior renewal can include seat covers (vinyl or leather), door panels, or new carpet. Let us replace your convertible top in vinyl or specialty Stayfast in custom colors. We also do dashboard replacement and instrument replacement / rebuilding.
